Hi everyone! Today we began our studies in the Wetlands Unit for Science! We learned about the importance of adaptations for each living being's survival in their own environment, and how different environments might call for a different set of adaptations. We even did a fun experiment in class where we were tasked with filling out a questionnaire WITHOUT the use of some of our very important human adaptations. Here are some videos about the adaptations of a Peppered Moth, as well as how some creatures change over time to meet the needs of their evolving environment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDSFlRunlrU Types of Wetlands: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WlmGyN9VXs We'll keep learning about wetlands as the year comes to a close, and will have a field trip to Weaselhead Park on May 7...
