HI Everyone! Lots of updates coming up! 1. Historical Figure Day is February 12th! Students have each been assigned a historical figure, and will come in character and provide a speech about their contributions to Canadian history. Attached are the guidelines for this project. We will spend the day doing activities commonly experienced in The Great Lakes Saint Lawrence Lowlands region.... but I won't ruin the surprise and tell you about ALL our fun plans just yet. If you'd like a hint, try researching a certain famous winter festival that takes place every year in Quebec. Perhaps your taste buds might find themselves in sticky situation.... 2. Fraction Cakes are well on their way! Most students have already handed in their multiplied recipes with signatures, but if these have not all come back to Ms. Walker, please finish them soon.... unless you don't like chocolate, icing, or fun times :) Cake day will be February 21st.
